Mission or Purpose
The Lackawanna Valley Conservancy exists to promote the conservation of watershed lands, forest, wetlands, natural areas, historical, scenic, and recreational resources in the Lackawanna Valley.   To further this mission the Conservancy works closely with the Lackawanna River Corridor Association, the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority and other agencies interested in the conserving our valley's resources.
