Mission or Purpose
Conodoguinet Creek Watershed Association is a non-profit [501 C(3)], environmentally concerned citizens group created to take appropriate action on matters that affect the welfare of the Conodoguinet Creek watershed. We wish to protect its historical significance and the natural character of its 90-mile (144 km) length within the parameters of a changing environment and development pressures. We are also concerned with its 540-square mile watershed. We work with and support federal, state and local authorities in developing programs for the protection and enhancement of the total watershed drained by the Conodoguinet Creek.
The CCWA is concerned with the well being of the land and the people living on it, as well as the flora and fauna that depend upon the Conodoguinet Creek.
