Municipalities may require developers to provide parkland for new developments. They may also offer developers the option to instead pay fees, construct facilities or establish private parkland. This is the 2nd edition (2015) of a guide first published in 2008. It addresses changes made to the law in 2014 to give municipalities greater flexibility.
