Steven J. Schiffman acts as counsel to both non-profit and for-profit corporations. He is currently outside general counsel to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. He is the managing member of Serratelli, Schiffman & Brown, P.C. Mr. Schiffman practices residential and commercial real estate law, tax law, non-profit corporations, business law, including litigation in state, federal courts and administrative agencies. He is a frequent lecturer to professional groups as well as local and statewide organizations on matters such as estate planning and non-profit corporation law.

Bio

He is a graduate with distinction of the Pennsylvania State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974. In 1977, he graduated from Capital University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate magna cum laude. In 1983, Mr. Schiffman received his Master's of Law in Taxation from Temple University School of Law. Mr. Schiffman is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United State Supreme Court.
