The Land Trust Alliance presents:

Oil and Gas CAN Work with Conservation Easements - Sometimes

Time: 2:00PM-3:30 PM ET

Instructor: Steve Small

Cost: $55 before 4/18, then $65 thereafter

Level: Intermediate-advanced

Oil and gas exploration can sometimes be compatible with conservation easements, but the land trust and landowner need to be able to impose limits on exploration and extraction to protect the conservation values and to preserve deductibility of the easement. Learn how to approach this difficult area of the law and what rules apply (you might be surprised).
